Before launching Executive LA, Patricia Stephenson ran a successful PR firm, “Executive Network,” representing major celebrities and brands across Los Angeles. When one of her high-profile clients—a renowned film producer—requested a custom white stretch limousine, Patricia went beyond expectations.
At the time, stretch limos were utilitarian black vehicles, often bulletproof and far from glamorous. Patricia’s client spotted a white 1979 Lincoln Continental stretch limo at the Bel Air Hotel. Patricia secured it, and this single vehicle sparked a transportation revolution.
To meet rising demand, Patricia commissioned five more limousines in white, blue, and silver, working with coachbuilder Carlos Allan to develop a unique design. Her vision included luxurious interiors and a side-mounted beverage station—innovations that were unheard of at the time but have since become industry staples.
By the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics, the limo market exploded from just one business to over 800. Patricia’s influence helped redefine what high-end chauffeured service looked like in the region.
As I reflect on almost 50 years of Executive LA Limousine, I’m filled with gratitude and a sense of accomplishment. This journey has been a labor of love, and I couldn’t have achieved it without the incredible team that surrounds me.
