Welcome to Executive LA. Patricia Stephenson is the CEO, PRESIDENT and the founder of this unique limousine service that began in 1979, almost 50 years ago.
Discover the story behind a pioneering woman who established a distinctive
white-glove limousine service.
It all began from her Public Relations Firm, “Executive Network,” a leading publicist to the famous stars and companies throughout the Los Angeles area.
One of her clients, a famous movie producer from Amsterdam, insisted on having a comfortable white limousine when he was in town.
In Los Angeles, the only rental vehicles available at the time were small black stretch limousines manufactured by Armbruster. These vehicles were typically bulletproof and used by political dignitaries. While not aesthetically appealing, they prioritized safety.
He insisted on a white stretch limousine.
While dining at the Bel Air Hotel, Patricia’s client spotted a unique new white 1979 Lincoln Continental stretch Limousine. Intrigued, he negotiated with the owner and purchased the one-of-a-kind stretch limousine for Patricia’s PR company. This vehicle soon became a popular choice among Southern California’s celebrities. .
The popularity of this unique limousine led to a demand for five additional stretch models in white, dark blue and silver.
Patricia became the pioneer in limousine design. She envisioned a luxurious interior with a distinctive beverage area off to the side. . Despite initial skepticism from the coach builder, Carlos Allan, her vision was realized. The resulting vehicles, available in a variety of colors, and she set a new standard for elegance in the limousine industry.
By the Los Angeles 1984 Olympics, the industry had grown exponentially from only one company in 1979 to over 800 companies. And today this industry has grown to over thousand companies throughout Southern California.
This marked the beginning of a diverse fleet, including stretch limousines, Mercedes Party Bus Sprinters, and a wide range of party buses accommodating 15 to 50 passengers.
This first limousine, affectionately named “Besty,” remained in her fleet for over two decades before finding a new home at a renowned oldie’s restaurant in Oregon. If you ever spot a white 1979 Lincoln stretch continental parked outside a restaurant in Oregon, it might be a glimpse of this historic vehicle.
Patricia was the original Executive Limousine Service, and countless imitators have since emerged.”
“Executive Limousine” was named after its parent company, “Executive Network,” which had to be renamed to “Executive LA” to differentiate it from other transportation services that lacked the quality and history of the original company. The company that has been operating for nearly 50 years.
Executive LA successfully retained all of its original clients and continues to serve
them to this day.

My mother and I needed a ride to our hotel and back to the airport earlier this month. We came to Burbank for a family function and did not want to rent a car. Executive Limo was fantastic. Patricia and her daughter did a great job setting us up and it was wonderful to talk to a live person not a machine. Something Patricia ( the owner) takes pride in providing.

Called Executive LA limo last second for an airport pick-up when we realized we really didn’t want to lug our 5 bags of ski-trip luggage to the rideshare lot at LAX. Stori was super friendly and seamed to understand our last minute “ah hah” moment. Lol! She sent us a perfectly large Escalade, driven by Andy, who had the back seats already down when he arrived to accommodate our luggage.

As an event planner, I always know that guests will arrive on time and in style when riding with Executive LA Limo! Stori and her team are always quick to respond and very thorough throughout the booking process. On event days, we are always given our drivers names and phone numbers and updates on arrival and departure times. Their buses and vehicles are beautiful and clean.

Executive LA Limousine & Malibu Limousine Worldwide added style and fun to our travel time between events during our wedding weekend! Our respective parties were able to get to and from our ceremony and we had transportation for all our guests from the nearby hotels for our church ceremony and our wedding reception at Calamigos Ranch in Malibu. They were so accomodating.

Amazing company! Prices are very competitive. We rented a party bus for a large group of 17, round trip, to and from LAX. On the way back from vacation, our flights got delayed and changed. Everyone in our group had been placed on random flights back because of weather related chaos at the airport in Miami. Thanks! Would recommend this company over and over!
